Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Dragon Stone is no longer working

Hi everyone,

Since today I am no longer able to use the dragon stone. Hitting 'u' has no effect and manually using the dragon stone from my inventory results in "I can't use this". In the tower I cannot move to other platforms anymore, because when I walk into the blue light my character says "I can't use this" again. Any way to fix this? Or do I need to throw away some hours of gameplay?

Do you have it in a hotkey at the bottom #s 1-8 ? If not maybe try dragging it to the #8 slot and click it.... if that dont work you might wait for Raze to get on or try in the Technical Problems area....

I tried it in on of the slots (7 actually) but that did not work either.

Someone else that ran into this problem just kept going and the dragon stone started working again after they cleared the waterfall cave and got the seeds quest. Since you don't have a recent save to reload, you may want to give that a shot...

Dragon Stone stopped working

I sent an e-mail and the kind people at Larian fixed the problem for me.

After loading the game it was immediately clear what happened: I had previously climbed up the ladder through the hatch at Camp Eagles Nest. While fighting the black ring in there I accidentally fell out of the hatch again, through the force field that inhibited me to climb in again. They modified the save game to put me back in Camp Eagles Nest again, so I could continue.

That happened to me, as well (just dropped suddenly in the middle of fighting, so presumably was pushed back). However, I had a save before taking the teleporter over, so just reloaded when I couldn't get up the ladder again.

I though it was part of the quest. That I had to find another way in.

I was surprised they were able to help me this fast. Not many companies have such great support
