I don't know about anyone else here, but two player co-op is nice, but I have plenty of friends who are willing to pay big bucks for 4 player dungeon crawling! with Larian already pushing the boundaries of an epic D&D-like dungeon crawler the game is begging for a 4 player co-op system, with already being able to hire extra companions, even if not featured in the campaign, a multiplayer feature would greatly enhance the experiance, even if only featured in player made or randomly generated dungeons. This is only a suggestion, a mere fantasy of players, but if people build up enough hype towards a 4 player multiplayer im sure Larian will listen.

- peace out

The game editor already supports 4 player co-op.

The main game stated off supporting 4 players, as well, but the 2 player-henchmen would not have been able to take part in conversations. With the added complexity of the henchmen and companions in the kickstarter stretch goals, Larian decided to focus on the two main characters for co-op, rather than half do 4 player co-op or double the amount of player dialog for the minority of situations where people would be playing that way.

To be honest, the editor already features 6 player co-op if people are willing to make stuff for that (which can be very complicated because of the huge dialogue structure for 6 people).... wink

Or a Dungeon Crawler in the style of Dark Spyre focusing on exploration, combat and character progression without the emphasis on dialogue and a minimalistic story could be moddded for co-op dngeon-crawling
