I have cleared the mine and am at the part with the three books....red/blue and dark....Where the hell are the books...I have been all over that place and cant seem to locate....am I blind or just dumb!!!

yes gone down the elevator killed everything and the three peds sit and I require three books..cant find the books

You go down (TWO) levels to get the books, then take them back up and place them exactly as they are below
