Ok, I hit gong and went to wasteland. I already used a spellbook heaven's blessing before I turn divine...I don't get the skill...
Now as a divine one, I used my last spellbook heaven's blessing...It shows that I learned but there is no skill pt there...

Has anyone successfully used a spellbook on divine skill after one turned divine?

What description rolled up the screen when you clicked on the spell book? You most likely got another level of Bless. (I mentioned Heaven's Gift before, but I forgot that is a survivor's skill). There are only spell books for the mage skills, not for the survivor or warrior.

I have had this problem as well. I have another book of heavens blessing, and I am saving it so that when I become divine, I can use it.

I also experienced another problem with another book. I am at work and can't remember the name at the moment but I think it is called elemental strike or somehting. Not elemental hail.

Anyway, when I read it, I didn't learn the spell I should have. Instead, I learned deadly disks or whatever it is called. I reloaded to try it again and again but I still had the same problem. Strange huh?


Are there any other books out there that do not give what they are supposed to?

I remember reading another book one that I forget the name of, and I didn't recieve a spell at all. But that was a while ago so I may have just not noticed which spell it gave me.

The picture on the book cover will I believe be a truer guide to the spell than the name--this is what I found.

I don't think waiting until you are Divine will make any difference; there are no survivor skill books, that know of.

There are a couple spell book names than can teach different skills. Sparks can teach either Lightning of Elemental Hail (or was it Elemental Strike?). I don't recall the name of the book that can teach Deadly Disks or something else, but it should not have the exact name as one of the skills.

They labeled these books wrong...

The book 'heaven's blessing' is actually 'magical might' <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />...

I'm not aware of other mismatches.
(??? elemental strike = deadly discs ???)

yeh i also found that rather anoying book...i really wanted to make items out the sky <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

I found another book and the name is different than the picture on the book. I will now make sure that the picture matches the skill hehe,
