We as a group could probebly keep the game going 24/7.

Does it say "No Game Exists"? If it does does,create the game. You can create the game over and over, there is no limit. If someone else doesn't have it going create it. Thats why I say we can have it going 24/7. Try it. I got 1 going now! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

When we start the game we'll have to widen the character level to the max too. That may have been what was keeping me out. Part of the time it said no game and part of the time it just said I couldn't enter (can't remember the exact phrasing).

dont forget we all have to create LADDER CHARACTERS.
To do that, you have to click on a tiny box below the name selection, and above the hardcore/ non hardocre box.

Otherwise you can't play in eachothers games.

That must be what the problem was! I did not click that box. Poo!

I was in on Sunday afternoon...mslynx and i played for a good 3 hours...

how does thi sonline game work?
if i join the larian game.
will the quest that have been done never return for th enewbies underous?

Basically what quests have been completed are based on who created the game. So if you wanted to start a new char and have us play along all we would have to do is let you create the game. Once in the game quests are shared and so is exp to a point. You have to be within 2-3 screens to get shared exp.

So if you want to go online and play - you could see if you could join Larian or Larian1000, if not you could start the game. It's still hard to coordinate times - Mslynx and BeeGee and I played for 2-3 hrs too. It's always better to have characters fairly close to the same level (more fun) - but you can always start a new character if needed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> or bring a lower level character you control. If none of you have the quests then you all get the quests if you solve them together - must be in the same general area to do this.

I was having such a good time playing I stayed till 11:30 pm my time! I played on a open game with some nice folks too! 1 from Montreal (sp?) 1 from Moscow, and 1 from Wisconsin! We had a great time,I started the Paladin while playing w/D'Queene and BeeGee, and now my Pali is like lvl 15! LOL! I can't wait for Divinity 2!
BTW, I really like piling all the loot in the middle of town so everybody playing has a shot at getting something they need. Very co-op Larian players! You are excellent!

Well, could we try making a fixed time where I could join ? I was just there, but nobody in sight. I thouight, it would be difficult to meet someone there because I simply don't know when anybody else arrives there - and where.

Alrik it would be easier for me and BeeGee to meet you on Saturday (because of the time diff) - we have plans on Sunday.

There's a couple of different ways to play the game - hard hitting (running through quests and monsters) and only taking enough time to repair your items and put on new better stuff or you can play a more laid back game and have some one who likes to do the shopping gather thngs and take them back to town. Both work - we play the hard hitting type with several friends and that's a blast! Sometimes there are so many monsters on the screen that it's tough to know who your enemy is. The more leisurely shopping way lets a new player get used to how the game works and also lets you find some really good stuff. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

If you want to play Saturday - set a time and we'll try really hard to meet you there. Better for you to set up the game if you haven't done your quests though!
