Silver armour, reward for the stalker quest/Dark Forest and how to upgrade it:

1) from there you get the quest
2) here can you find the armour

Location of the four parts of the map you need to enter the teleport area:

1st part is in a spider cave (NW of the archers/elven guild, SW part of the Rivertown area)
2nd part get you from 'Mpenzak' (Verdistis)
3rd part in in the sewers of Verdistis in the north-east (in a corpse)
4th part is in the Dwarven Halls/SW area/Dark Forest (near the entry to the mines is a small prison - you need lockpick lvl. 4/5 to open the door/SW corner of the Dwarven Halls). The map only says "scroll" and is near the bed.

In the hall of the dwarfs lives the brother of Rimmer. You must deliver a message from Rimmer's brother to Rimmer (dwarfen village in Rivertown), then you get the 5 bottles of Rimmer ale you need for the teleport..

Here is the treasure cave/NW Dark Forest


If you can't find it by using the large map:


With the 4 treasure maps you may pass the cobwebs. Look for 3 crystals (moonstones) and 2 (?) keys. This is the interior design. Green= sacrifice bowl. White = crystals

Now, ready for teleport?

To get to the easter egg area you must have this in your inventory:
1) silver armor
2) exactly 2002 gold, not one coin more or less
3) 5 bottles of ale from Rimmer (no other ale in your inventory)
4) 4 ropes (near tel. stone in that same cave, NO other ropes).
5) one teleporter pyramid in your inventory and one safely outside, so you may return
Everything else may stay in your inventory.

Only these ropes work


Click on the tel. stone to get to the easter egg area. In there open the 4 prison hatches and drag&drop the rope in it so you can descend. In the east there is a stairway. Kill all bugs in there and talk to Swen again. He will reward you by making Larian armor from silver armor, just look into your inventory afterwards.

What to do in the dungeon

Please save before you tackle the bugs, they're hard. In the bug area dungeon is a key on barrels (west) to open one of the locked chests in the east.



Before you speak to Sven after killing the bugs SAVE, please, so you can reload, if you're not satisfied with your armour stats. He will "give" it to you via speech option - so just look into your inventory afterwards <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Yes, you need all 4 treasure maps to be able to proceed in the second room of the treasure cave.

Yes, otherwise you can't enter the corridor past the cobwebs.

Thanks for the advice. I know I saw this somewhere on these boards but now I can't find it. How do I drop/keep a certain amount of gold? I'm sure it's something simple but I don't know

Open your inventory, drag the money out of it and before you let go of the mouse, press CTRL. A pop up window appears, the one you know from trading

Raze explains it like this
Drop the small pile of gold on the ground, then drag a pile with more than 2002 gold into your inventory and hold the control key down before dropping. This will bring up the split stack pane, which will let you specify how much gold to drop into your inventory.

How do u get the Larian Armour becuase I am not able to. Another thing, I talked to Rimmel's brother in Dwarven Halls, but he doesn't say anything about going back to talk to his brother Rimmel, should I go back anyways?

Where exactly are you stuck?
When talking to Rimmer's brother, go through all the speech options. I think asking about the dwarven halls, or his job or something, leads the topic of the dwarven village and his brother. Did you go through all of the speech options with Rimmer? Maybe you need him to mention something first.

How did you guys even get past those bugs? I cant even touch them. Im level 34. Is this too low?

I know there hard. But there beatable. Warrior swing and restoration potions did the trick for me. But make sure they cant surround you. Lure them to a small doorway or something.
