Hi:

Great job on posting tips for the Aleroth catacombs quest.

I must be doing something wrong on level 3.

As soon as I open any of the four outside tombs a hugh group of baddies
rushes out.

I am alos trying to find the Slasher Axe for Smiruk.
I did find an unidentified axe on level two under a floor tile.
I hope that this is the correct one.

you didnt do anything wrong with those tomb. It is suposed to be like this. If you opened all 4, and defeated the baddies for exp, you can continu to the next lvl throuh the tomb in the middle.

For slasher, normaly it is suposed to be lvl 4 ID, it is garded by a skeleton lord.

You said you found the axe under a floor tile? Yup, that's Slasher.
And there's a book near the start of the 3rd level that warns you of the tomb guardians.

And it often shows that the middle tombs are still locked. It's a minor bug (or glitch, what is it called? i dunno..) just ignore it.

Advice for Slasher Axe: Give it to Smiruk AFTER identification, he is greedy and tends to take all axes...

Well, I had always wondered about that. In Mardaneus' book it says that if you open the four outer the two inner will open or something, and I always find one of them closed as a clamp. Why is that? Just a bug?

Lilliana, it's a double tomb, that's what I believe the screen shows. It's just an entrance.

If you take a look at the first picture, and go to the orb with the flag, there's a door there that cannot be unlocked? or is they key hidden somwhere in the city? or am I just a stupid Idiot who haven't seen the real deal with it?

There should be a lever nearby, on the northern wall of the room, IIRC. Try turning up the gamma and darkness setting in the video options, to make it easier to spot such things.

I opened all the 4 tombs on level 3.. but the two tombs in the middle are still showing as "Locked"...?

EDIT: Nevermind.. I clicked on the "Locked" tomb on the left and it opened anyway...
