Each person should give their room reservation papers to the gentleman at the check-in desk. Also, don't forget to sign the R.S.V.P. list for the Special Conference, to be held this evening at 19:00 (7:00 pm) in Conference Room 17. Attire will be casual. The gentleman will give you a room key. Make yourself at home (until all of our authors sign-in).

Hi all! I'm working up the courage to join the conference. And, like jvb, I had a little difficulty scraping together the 475 Euros. Since I live in the U.S. I didn't have any Euros, just dollars.

I finally found someone in the neighborhood who would pay me in Euros to mow their lawn and paint their house and wash their car and wash their three cats (ow!) and sweep their roof and polish their silver and file their income tax return forms and walk their dog and babysit their kids and shop for groceries and cook their meals and polish their shoes and perform a hula dance while singing the Hawaiian War Chant. It took a whole day! Whew!

Now that I have the money, I can start writing my part of the story, right? ( Boy am I tired! )

I went and read the posts - you guys are great! Kiya, I promptly remembered to mail myself a package from home - things that I just might need for the , uh, trip.

Hopefully, Draghermosran , will get to post soon too!

BTW what's everyone planning to wear? Outfits that we made for or tennis shoes and jeans?
