I only brought three outfits:

1. Hiking boots, shorts, and a pith helmet
   
2. a tuxedo, patent leather shoes, and a black umbrella
   
3. the lederhosen and feathered hat I purchased in a shop in Switzerland
   

I think I'll wear the hiking outfit. Doesn't the helmet make me look distinguished?

We need to make some provision for Lynn or Lar to send someone in later if they want to join the story. Time can run differently in the 'new' world (example 5 mins here is 5 weeks there).

Well, I know my crates contain about 7 good swords and 3 very nice knives - so I'd really like to take them with us. I actually own all these btw, so I'm not making them up!

Now, might be a good time to decide why Lar & Lynn are sending us there or do we wish to play that by ear (meaning make it up as we go)?

I will not, repeat not, part with my backpack! I'm clinging heavily to it and you will have to cut me away from it! I'm not human without all my outfit: Slasher Axe, stuff to change, food, underwear, highheeled shoes, chemistry kit, hiking boots, tennis shoes, jeans, sweaters, pullover, shirts, dresses, ropes (!), waffle iron, vitamin pills, my favourite glasses, my sun glasses, magnifying glass, shield, plate armour, gloves, Larian armour to change, needles, pins, scissors, plaster, iodine, desinfection stuff, herbs, cigarettes, lighter, comb, hairbrush, soap, body lotion, sun tan lotion, ,swimming suit, spell books, survivor books, dictionaries, chocolate, buns, restoration potions, other potions etc.

Would you really deprive of it? Sniff, doublesniff, gulp

I know I brought several pairs of shoes (tennis shoes, heels, hiking boots); my laptop computer; emergency meds - tylenol, asperin, iodine, peroxcide, alcohol; needle and invisible nylon thread (you Never know what you might have to sew up ); emergency pastries and assorted cookies and chocolates; changes of clothing (several sets of underclothes thank you very much!); my cloak & costume for conference (just in case) - and that's only one bag!

Dragh, that's wonderful - if you've only got one little bag: you can carry mine, it's got little wheels I'll just take my handbag then, thank you, kind sire

Great post everyone. Sure, I'd like to do a quick shopping trip Hypatia - jvb might shoot us though if we don't get the show on the road.

BG PMed me that he had to run out to do some things but would be back in about an hour.

I have to take my purse of holding (I am not making this up, I think I scared my mother-in-law last night when I kept pulling juice and crayons and things out of it to occupy the little ones at a restaruant). I would have packed some survival stuff too, like matches and things. Maybe we can do a little of that. I know in PnP D&D you get a certain amt of gold to spend on things like that so maybe we could do something like that. I fully intend to purchase some garments as close to my avatar as I can find. That way y'all will be able to kinda picture me when you write. I find that helps if you can visualize whom you are dealing with. And gracious this thread/threads move quickly!

I don't think the inflatable swords will be any problem.

I actally had a cart o'plenty in one D&D game. LOL. Pocketbooks just not big enough. The Dungeon Master had things teleported from my cart somewhere else though so it didn't keep things for me; however, it did give me things like maps occassionally.

We need to vote in the poll above folks! So that when BG comes back from wherever he went we can got to the conference.
