I'm a bit of a grammatical enthusiast. :P Being so, I've noticed a lot of mistakes in language and spelling in one of two of my favorite games, Divine Divinity and also in Beyond. Flicking through the screenshots of Ego Draconis I also noticed one small flaw thus far. Let's see if you notice.

They apparently have not gone through and proof-read all the dialog yet (or hadn't when awhile ago when that screenshot was released, anyway). Welcome to the forum.

-Snicker- Hold your tounge EK!
I didn't think it was that bad in BD. The worst I remember in DD was "damage increased by 20 procent" Which is just a translation error I think.

We'll try to keep the spelling mistakes down to zero.

We'll try to keep the spelling mistakes down to zero. Spelling is easy, it's grammar we're talking about. If I remember correctly, Raze helped me out a lot with the BD manual in that area.

We'll try to keep the spelling mistakes down to zero. Well, better keep game mistakes down to zero than spelling mistakes . Game bugs are much worse. I would gladly acquiesce few spelling and grammar mistakes if the game runs bug-free. Its especially true for players from non-english speaking states. So if you going to "hunt something" in Larian, please hunt and burn by dragon fire all bugs .

Exelent! Than I caer no longer. Well, I have feeling that you, Macbeth, are not responsible for game testing, don't you? I hope that game dialogues wont be "exelent" and "caer no longer" is not official opinion of Larian studios.

Actually, it was the loading tips file and some of the dialog; I just missed the manual being finalized.

Prince John: And why should the people listen to you? Robin Hood: Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.

I agree with Farflame - a working game is vastly more important than the odd spelling mistake. Swordscythe - can never go wrong with a Men In Tights quote!
