I'm confused on death. If I die, I just lie there and nothing happens -- no window pops up, no chance to reload a save game, no choice to ressurect or anything. Please assist.
You can hit L to bring up the load window (or esc to go through the main menu), or if your most recent save was a quick save, use ctrl-L to quick load. These hotkeys can be changed in the options, if you wish.
Thank you for the welcome. Appreciate the answer. I thought I was doing something wrong because when you die nothing else happens.
BTW: This game is amazing. I got this and Beyond Divinity (will play that next). This has more depth and gameplay than most RPGs I've played in the past. The other thing that is amazing is how excellent the graphics, sound, and music are -- the best 2D I've ever seen.
If you are using an Xbox, then you are asking this in the wrong forum. Beyond Divinity is PC only (as is Divine Divinity). Divinity 2 is technically the third game, but Beyond Divinity was more of a spin-off and not set in Rivellon (can someone sum up the story).
In D2:ED when you die a message should come up, saying to hit A to load a save, or B to exit to the main menu.
