I cannot change ingame graphic settings... Every time I reload the game it reverts them back to default (medium) settings and 1024 x 768 resolution. Other settings - game, control, brightness - etc. are ok so the game definitely has access to settings.dv2 file. Just graphic tab ignores all changes after reload.

It's a bug when you use non latin character set in windiws logon name. No idea when developers gonna fix it. Fast and dirty fix is to create a "correctly" spelled user and play. But this is annoyning.

i really wanna get this game I'm trying to try the demo but i have this problem aswell so i gotta ask what do you mean by use latin characters?

I don't know which characters cause a problem, or if it is all non-latin ones, but if you stick to the standard A-Z/0-9 (no accent, grave, acute, etc modifiers) then you should be fine.

That might be an issue with the demo just not saving settings, though, rather than a bug with the game code. Someone else mentioned the demo not saving graphics or sound settings (the bug in the full game just occurs for graphics settings).

as I said i really want this game and only reason im wary of getting it is because I don't want my Girlfriend feeling like she wasted money( she hasnt got me an xmas pressie yet cause this only thing i want tbh lol)

but im gunna take a chance with the retail verson and hope its just a demo bug if not i kinda figured out which stuff to alter in the file that graphic settings are saved in documents & settings folder so i can play it at 1280 x 1024 so its not that big a problem now, thanks for the reply and the welcome
