I don't mind puzzels in games when they only are part of a side quest or reveal a hidden dungeon, but when they are part of the main quest line its just a recipe for killing the immersion of the game and a very bad idea. I am currently stuck on the third floor of the battle tower and can not find what triggers the door to unlock. I have spent the past two hours (what a game killer!!!) trying to work out how to unlock this door. This is the problem with designing puzzels as part of the main quest line, if you can't work it out you can not continue and it ruins the game.

Could some one please help me by telling me how to unlock the door on the third level of the battle tower. Fairly frustrated ATM, I'm just tempted to shelve the game and go back to DA:O...

after that u can go to the third floor and theres someone waiting for you smile

Thank you, greatly appreciated. I did the second step before the first and never went back to check. All is good and I feel like a goose laugh Still find puzzels on the main quest line frustrating...

I to find people that whine about people who whine about logic puzzels on forums frustrating. No one forced you to read my post. You did not offer any help so GTFO this thread and do something useful like play in traffic laugh I don't mind puzzels, I just think that it is a double edged sword to use them for a main quest line.

For someone with basic logic problems you sure like long sentences.

Its not that I have a problem with the puzzels, sometimes I don't have the patience to deal with them. Bad old FPS habit I guess ^^
