Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems Can't click anything in game.

When I run the game and get to the main menu, the cursor moves around but doesn't highlight any of the options or let me click them. So I am unable to actually play the game.

If anyone knows how to fix this, play let me know.

What version do you have? Did you run through the faq? Did that help?

I have the steam version of the game Divinity 2, The Dragon Knight Saga, just bought it yesterday (11/24/2010) and I've checked everything and it is up to date. I read through the faq and was unable to find a solution.

Running on Windows XP.

Did you check your mouse driver ?

Ok, so I got it to work and I am able to play the game. But now it freezes up after about 30mins to an hour of playing.

I've tried lowering the graphics down to lowest settings. Still does it. Not sure what else to do.

What did you do to get the mouse back to work?

Try to stop anti-virus software while playing. Just in case.

Also check the temperature of your PC.
Long time ago I had the same kind of problem. The PC was working well and I could play most of my games. But with one game I had this kind of freeze because temperature was going too high after some times.
When I was leaving my PC open, it was working well.

I bought another (better) PSU (with better fan) and problem was solved.
