I've been playing games for the past 20 years now. I always enjoy a nice and non-difficult, RPG or Aventure/Action game. I buy approximately 1 to 2 games ayear and I search the net for cheats and wlakthroughs before I decide on which games to buy. the reason being I love games but I don't enjoy the difficulty on most games. I"m in it for enjoyment not for stress and heart attack. It"s ok to die once in a while, but not all the time. I love "Divine Divinity" and "Beyond Divinity" actually I love all Larian Studios games. I bought Divinity 2-Ego Draconis and I love the game. I love the Artwork, the Storyline, the Animation is superb, the country scenery is beautiful. The promblem is I can get up to (not close) the Maxos Temple and I'm dead. I wish I could go thru the temple and onto the island so that I can enjoy the beautiful landscape, I can only emagine it. Why don't you guys include an add-on program (for Seniors and anyone who wants to just enjoy your handywork thru to the end) that will make the HERO immune to dying so many times. There are thousands of Seniors who would love to play these type of games but Seniors don't like dying.....DAAAAAAHH.

PS. Maybe someone out there will find a way to play this beautiful game for pleasure instead of stress and aggrivation. Please HELP me I'm stuck.

Have you completed everything else in Broken Valley? It would be best if you were level 14 or 15 for the end of Maxos temple, so there is no rush to get there.

Several trainers were mentioned in the DKS topic Horrible trouble with platform jumping, which could help with combat. Often, though, a different approach or trying another area first will help.

ED can be a very hard game but however as Raze said it can be made much easier by having your character's level equal to or above the enemy's level. If you find an area too hard, complete other quests first to raise your level and / or find other areas with weaker enemies. Also focus your skills into one particular class i.e warrior, mage or ranger. I prefer to play as a warrior mage so I can get up close and personal and also use magic from a distance. For warriors you can specialise in single handed weapons, two handed weapons, dual wield weapns or even a mix. Obviously then you have to loot / buy the most appropirate weapon.

The underground tunnels are good areas to start and have weak(er) enemies you can level up on. Keep at it and you will be rewarded by Sentinel Island and later your dragon form.
