For anyone else using an old rig, tried the demo to find that the game runs smooth but videos do not, I have resized the entire video folder to run smoothly on old systems.

Will post a link soon unless anyone has a problem with it.
The only reason I can see to discourage FMV resize availability would be to promote sales for newer operating systems that can run newer components...which is pretty much cattle marketing and a shame because this is a really good game and people not born into wealth should not be penalized.

If there is a problem however you can do it yourself via:

http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html

Suggested size to reduce to is 640 x 384

Takes approx 6 hours to convert the whole video folder.

Good idea although I would have thought a video card that is capable of rendering the 3D graphics of the game without problems should be able to handle the FMV's. Maybe codec / driver issue? What spec is this older computer?

I've taken the default videos in Dragon Knight Saga and have resized them to 640 x 384.
I know that is an awkward size but I'm using the standard set by BlazBlue which included low res copies of their FMVs as well and that size worked perfectly on my PC.

I'm running
Windows XP SP3 32 bit
1 Gig Ram
AMD 2400+ Single Core
nVidia GeoForce 7300 GT

Although I could play the videos in VLC my old computer was not able to handle the videos at their default resolution through the game itself resulting in a lot of lags, stutters and pauses making the videos virtually unwatchable.

Aside from that the game play runs pretty smooth on my old set-up in case any one else with old PCs were wondering or on the fence about rather to buy this or not.

Even if you have a high end PC and are also experiencing dragging FMVs you might want to try my resizes as well.

Videos converted using Prism

To install just simply unrar and move the 'Video' folder to the 'Data' directory located in the game's main directory.

Rename the original Video folder so as not to accidentally overwrite in case you need to resort back to the original videos.

The rar is 1Gig big so JDownloader ( http://jdownloader.com/ ) is your best bet considering its resume feature. I've used Megaupload because they are the most non-suscriber friendly but let me know if there is a restriction involving the size of the zip which some file hosting sites implement.

I'm a GeoForce 7300 GT 512 MB AGP on an AMD 2400+ Single Core.

The videos at default size will run through a player like VLC but in order for them to work in the game itself I had to resize them.

Ugh. Apparentally there is a restriction and a premium membership is needed. Will break down the rar into two archives, re-upload and submit a new link.

Here they are finalized - these should be manageable to download without a premium account:

Ill give that a try on my old computer (which I gave to my dad 2 years ago) its a P4 3.4Ghz 2Gb RAM and a Geforce 7300GT. I tried the game originally on that machine and it ran pretty well at a screen res of 1024x768 from what I remember. The main game did anyway, think the videos were OK but will try again next time I'm up there.
