The current Kickstarter craze with so many veteran developers succesfully gaining financial support for old-school projects (Wasteland 2, Shadowrun, Banner Saga, ...) made me realize Radon Labs would've probably been able to fund a Drakensang 3.

It makes me sad.

But maybe this is a good idea for future Larian projects, considering how succesful was?

Yeah I totally agree with you there - Kickstarter is really going to start making a lot of low-budget, high-awesome games possible, and any small to mid level studio should be looking into it - just see what happened to Double Fine!
