Noticed that there is a larianvault and steam version that both support higher resolutions and Win7 (and hopefully as well patched as 1.0034a).

Is there hope for retail owners like me to be able to play widescreen on Win7? Also hoping for no-cd play as well.

I noticed that there is an unofficial 1.005 patch link in these forums, but that it is lacks many of the fixes which make me leery to even attempt it.

Can a retail owner somehow register their copy and qualify to download the larianvault version?
