i can't use shortcut's with the F 1-12 buttons, that din't work. Also the steam overlay didn't work too. He only count's my playtime, but without overlay i can't make screenshots for steam cloud.

Will there be a fix? Thank you and greetings

You should be able to assign the F1-12 hotkeys to potions, skills and weapons - open the appropriate menu, hover over an item and press the desired key (ie assign F1 to restoration potions, etc). CTRL-F12 will bring up the window to assign hotkeys (or you can go through the main menu).

CTRL-F11 will save a screenshot (in png format) in the '..Divine Divinity\capture' folder. Can you manually upload screenshots, or set the software to watch specific folders?


The original release of this game was a year before Steam, so I don't know what would be involved in adding overlay support.

In January 2003 i bought DD as retail, so i have a manual and know the controls But the function for shortcut's didn't do it. When i go with the cursor over a potion it blinks, but F-1 or others didn't work.

The other thing with the steam overlay is, if a friend writes me in the chat, i'm not able to see it.. So that's a little problem.

I haven't seen anyone else report a problem assigning hotkeys. Did you try with skills or weapons?

So, shortcuts work, it was my mistake. Seems i must mail them for the steam overlay. Thank you.
