ich würde gerne wissen ob diese Version

Divinity II Ego Draconis (Software Pyramide) für PC

mit der normalen Retailverkaufsversion von

Divinity II Flames of Vengeance für PC

kompatibel ist.

Falls dem so ist interessiert mich noch, ob dieser Patch

ohne weiteres dann darauf angewendet werden kann.

Der Hintergrund ist folgender:
Ich besitze und spiele zur Zeit die Ego Draconis Version von der Softwarepyramide (für 10 € zu erhalten) welche die Versionsnummer 1.3.15.112 hat.
Nun überlege ich mir noch das AddOn Flames of Vengeance zuzulegen, welches auch recht günstig zu erhalten ist und beides per Patch auf The Dragon Knight Saga zu bringen, damit ich in den Genuss der "vollständigen" Version dieses guten RPGs komme.

Ich weis, dass es auch das "All-In-One-Pack" The Dragon Knight Saga gibt. Da ich aber bereits das "Hauptspiel" habe, wäre die Anschaffung nur des AddOns die sinnvollere Alternative. Zumal sich theoretisch "Ego Draconis + Flames of Vengeance" zu "The Dragon Knight Saga" (+ sämtliche Verbesserungen, Engine usw.) patchen lassen.

Ich würde ungern das AddOn kaufen und feststellen, dass meine Sofware-Pyramidenversion damit nicht funktioniert

Würde mich freuen, wenn mir Jemand weiterhelfen könnte. Vielen Dank schonmal.

This is definitely possible.
The only issue you might have is that gui.dv2 and gfx.dv2 files are not compatible with the fov2dks patch since the german software pyramide version is a pre-installed 1.03 version.

There is an easy fix for this:
simply place these two files in your ../Data/Win32/packed/ directory after applying the fov2dks patch:
a. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19240087/Larian/GUI.dv2
b. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19240087/Larian/GFX.dv2


After installing the fov2dks patch, make sure to add the drm_free exe of dks on top of that version:

Before i apply the fov2dks patch ( http://www.larian.com/fov2dks_community.php ), after installing the Flames of Vengeance Addon, do i have to patch the Flames of Vengeance installation? I think the patch found here :

should be the one to apply?

Long story short:
The correct way of installing and patching should be:
1. install Divinity 2 Ego Draconis (Software-Pyramide-Version)
2. install Divinity 2 Flames of Vengeance Addon (Retail-Version)
3. apply latest patch for Flames of Vengeance (http://www.larian.com/fov_support.php )
4. apply fov2dks patch (http://www.larian.com/fov2dks_community.php)
5. place file (a) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19240087/Larian/GUI.dv2 and file (b) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19240087/Larian/GFX.dv2 in the ../Data/Win32/packed/ directory
6. add the drm_free exe of dks on top of that version (http://www.larian.com/dks_DRM_free_community.php)

pps: Additional remark: Thank you Larian-Studios for a great game. It's quite addictive and charming. I love the quest design and the dialogue writings. Also the german translation, especially the dubbing, is fantastic. Great Job!

no, do not apply the patch to FoV

- install Ego D.
- install FoV
- install community patch Fov-to-DKS
- place the two .dv2 files
- add drm_free exe
- enjoy !
