The secret area in the Bandit Barracks that has the explosives had a second secret area I skipped over the first time and having now gone back the button doesn't work any more. Is this because the explosives shook something loose or is it just a bug?

If it's a bug, have I missed anything special?

The second button opens the wall so you can enter the other cell, which contains only the key for the chest in the room with the explosives. That chest contains random gold, minerals, potions or formula, so nothing you have to worry about missing. I reloaded a save from before then and used both explosives before trying the second button, and was also unable remove that wall.
