In the end at least slots 2 (bomb) and 7 (Zeppelin Barrage) are changed without warning and can not even be changed back...
Don't touch my UI in this stressing ending, it becomes easily boring so I quit the game.
I would really want to play the game again, if there were not this ending.

I changed where the bomb skill was assigned, and removed the Zeppelin Barrage skill, and moved some of the others (in the Xbox version).

IIRC, I changed them back too, but in the pc version they went coming back again, removing one more time my choices.
But as I was upset (I already don't like those console-like hurrying protecting missions), I didn't bother much with this problem, maybe I did not insist.
Maybe, often in pc games, key-pad is not used, and I use it. Maybe the game was not made for the key-pad and that's why I couldn't play well? I don't remember.
Without this ending, this game would be in my top 20 list (at least, maybe top 10) of pc games
(It was, before I had seen this end. I think I even registered this forum just to thank you, at first).
EDIT: Okay, seeing my 1st mail, I buy again the game(s) on GOG. I hope you'll make something for this game's end.

I agree with this: it appears that the ending is quite contentious. I must admit I didn't enjoy it and couldn't even complete it, at least not without Raze and Stabbey's help. And I also feel that, other than that penultimate sequence, the game is likely in my all-time top 10...

I like the ending very much, killing Ygerna ! grin
But I agree the Escort Mission was very difficult and a pain in the *ss ... but after a few "game over's" I succeed (after lowering the difficulty to casual) ...
Hope next time I can do it on hard or even on nightmare :hihi:

Ygerna was quite tough and got slightly protracted, but I didn't really mind that too much and it was worth it for the end sequence: I liked the camera panning away from Aleroth (shame I couldn't visit the surroundings as was apparently originally planned...)

I also lowered the difficulty to casual for the escort mission; odd thing about it is that I didn't notice a difference between it and Stabbey's nightmare-difficulty video. Maybe I was just looking for the wrong things...

I loved the end boss fights in both Ego and FOV. They were rather difficult which I enjoyed. End boss fights are meant to be difficult and one shouldn't expect any different from an RPG which has some rather old school elements. Triumphing over the bosses really gave you a sense of achievement and I really got a sense of achievement when my mage absolutely ravaged Ygerna. The Divine One is no longer difficult for me but maybe that's because they decreased his statistics in the DKS version. I remember that he was pretty hard in the original version of the game though.
