Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Beta Beta crashes at launch

So yeah, what the title says. It doesn't even reach the loading screen - just crashes with the standard Windows crash screen. This is the only Steam game, or program in general, that crashes for me in this way.

My system:
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium
ATI Radeon HD 7850
16 GB RAM

Things I've tried: Uninstalling and then reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributables, both x64 and x86; updating DirectX; updating ATI drivers. Nothing helps. Like I said, this is the only game or program I experience this kind of problem with.

Have you installed Net 3.5 that comes with the game?

Yeah, I have. And then uninstalled and reinstalled it, even. That didn't help.

I have same problem. Can it be linked with windows DEP? If so then how to fix it? Becouse .exe of DC can not be added as exeptions in windows DEP.

No I haven't, unfortunately. I've basically tried everything, including turning off my antivirus program and reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to help.

I just hope this gets sorted out before release, because I really want to play the game.
