Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Mac User: Will this run okay?

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone can give some insight on if this will run okay on my Mac. I'm pretty sure the performance should be decent, but want to verify.

Mid 2011 iMac
OSX 10.9.3
3.1 Ghz Intel i5
20 GB 1333 DDR3 Ram
Radeon HD 6970m 1024MB Graphics Card

Any thoughts?

Yes the will run if not fluidly on 1920 then definitely on 1600+ with High+ settings. But no miracles with 2000+ resolutions - you will need medium/low settings to handle them.

Thanks I only have a few that run fluidly in the 2000+ res. I'm happy to drop it down. I appreciate the feedback. Purchase incoming

Just an update: Bought it and installed. Not going to play much due to release tomorrow, but I did bump it up to the 2000+ native res. Working great! Runs a hair bit smoother at 1920, but still...impressed and excited!

Yeah, the game seems to run much faster on radeons than it does on nvidias.
