Hello All,

I am looking for some help with the AI grid. I have created a mountain
range and lowlands map, but am having problems having the ai grid generate on plateaus and paths further up the mountain range. Does the engine have a maximum height limit to its ai grid generation? It seems to stop partially the way up the mountains and wont generate, seed or paint any higher.

I have thought of a solution by creating a second terrain layer and raising it to the the level of the plateaus where the original ai grid ended. Then I would cut the terrain to fit around the original pleateaus and generate the ai grid from there. I can't seem to get the ai grid to generate on the second terrain layer and ignore the first.

Have you tried putting an AISeeder on the upper plateau, generate and then teleport your chars up there and see if it works despite the AIgrid not showing up in the editor. Alternatively, you could try to find the lower limits aswell, and then recreate the terrain after you have put the base height to the minimum using the set height tool.

Yeah, i think definitely try placing the seeder in different places to see what works. if it works.
maybe even more of them?

btw, do we still need to manually move the AI grid files to appropriate folders after creating it first time?
