In some games, a player character who dies can be ressurected with a cost. Usually, this cost is a decrease in attributes....Maybe minus 1 in constitution, intelligence, strength, and agility, after a character comes back to life and/or a drop of one level in experience. It'd be interesting to see something like this in future versions of Divine Divinity. After all, if the character is truly the Divine One, the game shouldn't be over just because he/she has been killed by a monster or a deadly trap..

Yup, in The Nomad Soul your soul would be transferred to the first person that touches your body after you died (or you could use a spell to enter a new body while you were still alive). Great concept, but the game lacked a lot A finishing touch, for example
