Oh my, I have seen the screen shots of .
Why in hell does the hero have a body posture that is about to fall on its back and a figure most suitable for a handicapped idiot? I know we shall be able to customize the character, but I also know that we may get stuck with one body posture dynamic descriptors. Upright is fine or en guard but that rather stupid open-defence and leaning backwards is intolerable. Only Mohammed Ally did that when he was pressed on the ring ropes but at least he closed his defences and boxing has different rules too that forbid under belt strikes.

That hero’s posture really made me angry and I hope you can do something about it.

oohhh.... don't sweat the small stuff, DAD. i'm sure the screen capture caught the character in a bad posture. that's all. say if u screen capture keanu reeves in his matrix move & caught him in a 'compromising position' then post it up before the movie is released, people would've complained that matrix goes dirty in sequel.

the gripes that i have is that the character has bad sense of fashion. heck he made loin cloth look cool. & i wish the demon knight looks more menacing than just the regular look.

which reminds me, both look a lot like 'ambiguously gay duo' superheroes.

obviously all action shots the first one it "appears" he is swinging his weapon, nice mist and steam effects, the second is running from the teeny spider ,and the third look like the death knight is using a spell on the spiders eyes (maybe some sort of blinding spell) while our hero beats it down with a stick , and besides why would they get him all dressed up, i'm sure by release time he'll be all gussied up for his/their debut!
i'm sure the attention right now is functionality,
and fashionability will come in time...

........ .... .... ........

only 4 more months if all goes well....

Hi janggut, Take a closer look please, a very close look and use a graphics interface to enlarge the screen shots as required. Focus on the hero and notice the sissy Japanese Manga Style of standing like a girl and bending backwards like a street-light hooker. I think I am more familiar with such animations than many here.
Japanese animations do not give a damn about the posture and/ or the physical aspects since Akira was out. Akira was a landmark animation that gave nuclear powers to slim-kid that looked half girl and half boy to me.
It is not convincing for my tastes. Now they have Picatchoo and many dolls having special powers in Pokemon series. This is fine for kids that love toys. We are talking about the Rift Runner here an RPG that we are all waiting for. It is quite different and I just wanted to make sure that my character shall move like a man when I pick a man and move like a woman when I pick a women, not like an idiot when I pick any.

indeed DAD, the hero is leaning a bit to far backwards or could it be that this is due to the fact that imho he is just being hit..??

and forget the "o-legs" thing, it was a way of standing just before striking an enemy I think

Thank you for your confirmation Viper.
What I am really, really, talking about is the total aspect and the impression I have from seeing the character I have to identify with. In the screen-shot the sampled hero looked like he had pneumonia or that he was strip dancer rather than a hero. I am telling you, there is somehow a Japanese virus infection that reached that character.
AND

I hope I am totally wrong on this.
I am suspicious that the character animation algorithms had been tailored to describe the pivots and the angulations to comply with whatever character you choose whether that be a woman or a man and it could have turned out to be in favour of a woman. If you try to imagine the hero being a woman then that posture is more than perfect for a very sexy female hero. If that is the case, then I shall never play a male character. There is my solution.

Here is a enlarged shot of the hero.
what I see is that :

the hero just casted a spell onto the spider.
Or
some kind of explosion did place and the hero was hit also and backed out.
Or
it's just a fontan of lava commin out of the ground and the hero was just hit by the spider

annyway it's clearly a picture made in the middle of an action.
i can NOT conclude this is the posture the hero always stands like this.
Soo i find it a bit premature to say "i'm wright and they're wrong"

true bean, and I won't say I'm right and they're wrong because I also suspect mid-action screenshots.

I just HOPE that's true, then we don't have to worry

I am complaining from this.

This hero has Rickets, Anaemia and needs to learn how to walk forward because he surly walks backwards.
The laws of nature dictate that the body weight must have a locus under feet for standing, and when we move we displace that centre of gravity in front of the body and follow it by our feet to walk. I am talking about healthy normal people not Heroes. Heroes should have an extra body feature that makes them appeal as being though. Did Lar say somewhere that there shall be schools and Hospitals too, because that hero definitely needs the ER.

You do have a strong and admirable memory, almost as strong as mine.
You are correct, and I hated that stupid game.

Maybe he is a steriod monster, and his muscles are too big for him to walk properly.
