now that you mention it, indeed, what has the women on the box have to do with the game ???

While the introductory trailer shows a male hero and a female divine spirit that splits into three to mark the marked ones, the divination of the hero movie-clip is definitely of a female winged figure. If the starting trailer had the female warrior as a substitution, it would all make perfect sense because both are blond babes.
The alternative was to give us the class-gender selector first and then a corresponding start trailer (one of six) showing our selected hero in that trailer. Now that would be an extra CD at least.

In my very humble opinion, Divine Divinity was meant to be played by the female warrior character for best playability and conformity to the game design. That is because the other two marked ones are males, brave and daring in a way that leads to their death. Therefore, it is rather logical that the third marked one should be a female with more brain than brown to qualify to survive accordingly.

In my humble opinion, DD should be played as the player himself wishes

I just hope they won't need any big bust on the cover this time to draw attention I mean, I can forgive the low commercial sales strategy for , afterall, new company, no fame, new game... But now the world knows what Larian Studios is worth, maybe now they could go for a nice, atmospheric, and tasteful cover?

(And yeah, I'm a guy, ánd I'm straight I'm just too sane, probably )

No she wasn't distasteful... but the strategy remains the same - and it's incredible the same strategy is used to sell any product Nothing against the Larians - just the strategy, and the fact that it works , I'm aware of that
Yeah yeah, I know, very few people agree with me

I wonder the contents of RR box (and the developper of course). I hope the manual will be more than a 17 pages installation guide like in mo st games.
