How do you control the player character?

You either left click on a location or hold down your left mouse button to move the player character. You can group the Hero and the Death Knight so they both move to where you click or you can give them orders separately.

How do you attack?

Left click makes you engage an enemy, right click uses your secondary skill. Depending if you placed your other character in “aggressive” or “passive” mode it will engage enemies on sight or waits until you give the command to engage.

Are there hotkeys and can I assign them myself?

Yes. You can easily assign different keys to different actions.

How do I use a skill?

You assign a skill to your primary skill (used by pressing the left mouse button) and assign a skill to your secondary skill (used by pressing the right mouse button).

Can I move objects?

Yes you can. In some situations you even have to.

Can I move everything?

You can move a lot of things but not everything. For hygienic reasons we decided to protect players from themselves. Inventories filled with “garbage” and “rotten food” cannot be healthy.

Can I break objects?

Yes. Certain objects can be smashed to feed your insatiable desire to find treasure.

Is there an automap?

Yes. There is a small one and a big one. The mini map is particularly helpful to not get lost and keep track of enemies and NPC’s nearby.

Can I put markers on the automap and enter my own notes?

Yes. The game generates certain notes automatically to make it easy for the player. Those notes will be shown in red flags, your own notes will be with a blue flag.

What is the purpose of the diary?

The diary will keep track of all your conversations, making it easy to read everything again. It will also keep track of trophies. Trophies are the enemies you killed; the diary will show you their stats and weak points. Next to all this you'll find your quest log here.

Is there a quest log?

Yes. It will keep track of the pending quests and an overview of all the quests you have finished, successfully or not. The latter you can filter out of your log.
